Conceptual and Experiential Design
WHPK UCHICAGO CLUB FAIR (2023)
The standard club fair table elicits fleeting, transactional interactions. To subvert the norm, I constructed a mid-century modern living room, with a Wassily Chair, WHPK coffee table books, and comforting music. Thus, students felt more welcomed, idling around and mingling with each other.
WHPK MERCHANDISE SCREEN-PRINTING (2023)
To avoid excessive production, increase audience engagement, and promote accessibility, I conceptualized and organized a WHPK merchandise screen-printing event. Students brought or purchased used clothing to be screen-printed with one of three WHPK logos for a fee of three dollars.
WHPK AUTUMN BREEZE (2022)
I communicated with venue admin and artists' management, directed marketing efforts, and designed the venue for Autumn Breeze—a concert featuring Injury Reserve. The space was intimately arranged with red lighting to emulate the aesthetic of Injury Reserve's album By the Time I Get to Phoenix.
